Job Summary:
## Job Summary The Associate Accounts Payable Manager is a hands-on leader within the Accounting team, responsible for overseeing the full Accounts Payable cycle while actively supporting daily AP operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external vendors and requires a strong customer service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate combines operational execution with some leadership capabilities, balancing day-to-day transaction processing, month-end responsibilities, cash flow support, and issue resolution, while also driving process improvements and supporting team development. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable AP operations as the company continues to grow and evolve.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead all areas of the day-to-day full AP cycle, driving process excellence across the end-to-end process. Accountable for the overall operational success of the Accounts Payable team. Develop and maintain an accurate cash flow forecast Maintain relationships with all banks and ensure compliance of the company's loan covenants Manage the overall AP month-end close process, ensuring all weekly and monthly AP entries including intercompany transactions and invoice accruals are prepared in a timely and accurate manner. Manage overall dispute resolution process and closely monitor key metrics Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing process improvements, technology driven solutions and automation for workflow optimization Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including providing career development planning and opportunities. Provide support for the ongoing growth and integration of new entities Support ongoing transformation efforts through ongoing company growth Qualifications (Required): Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related) 4+ years of relevant experience Bilingual, the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin professionally is required. Strong sense of Ownership and willingness to drive optimiation and improvemtn Strong end-to-end AP experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment Knowledge of basic accounting principles, use of Chart of Accounts and the month-end close process Experience managing a large Accounts Payable function Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with accounting software, i.e. QuickBooks Highly detail-oriented Use of AI tools to increase prodictivty and drive optimiation Some expereince in mentoring or poeple managmetn
