We are now hiring a Director of Accounts Payable to be the newest member of our impactful team!
Pay range:
$130k-$150k The Director of Accounts Payable manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the AP department by overseeing the preparation, analysis and organization of AP function. The position is also responsible for managing staff, ensure timeliness and accuracy of payments, and other duties assigned by the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Personnel Management:
Manages daily employee activities including determining specific work assignments; and monitoring individual staff productivity as well as performance Trains employees on policies and procedures related to AP function. Hire and termination of staff Oversee a team of 10-15 staff members Maintains strictest confidentiality.
Support Functions:
Manages all activities in the accounts payable function. Ensures timely submission of reports to treasury. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense reports. Maintains accurate records of payments and invoices. Reviews AP register to ensure accuracy and perform reconciliation on a monthly basis. Ensures that AP processes are performed by staff. Establishes a comprehensive disbursement calendar. Reviews and audits all check requests and seek necessary approval. Provides assistance on developing and implementing specific reports and analyses. 1099 filings Lead AP Department in ERP conversion. Process and reconcile credit card payments. Monitor and replenish petty cash Assist with onboarding of new acquisition entities
What Sets You Apart:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AP management
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable. Understanding of finance in a long-term care environment is strongly preferred
