Accounts Receivable Manager

Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager About This Role We are a growing construction services organization with operations across multiple states. The AR Manager will play a key role in overseeing billing, collections, and customer accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support the team, improve processes, and maintain strong internal controls. This position is based in Boca Raton, FL with onsite work required Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections Prepare progress billings, T&M, and unit-based invoices in compliance with contract requirements Partner with project teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure documentation is complete Oversee AR aging, monitor cash flow, and provide reporting to leadership Supervise and mentor AR staff, fostering accountability and collaboration Implement process improvements and support financial system enhancements Ensure compliance with multi-state billing, lien, and retainage requirements Perform other finance-related duties as needed Required Qualifications 5-7 years of AR experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role Knowledge of construction billing practices (retainage, lien releases, AIA-style billing) Strong Excel and financial system proficiency Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage deadlines and multi-state accounts effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience with job cost accounting or WIP reporting Experience in multi-entity or acquisition-driven environments Strong customer service and team collaboration skills Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for professional development and growth
