Position Summary We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the company's payables operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of all financial obligations. This role is responsible for managing the full AP cycle, maintaining compliance with GAAP, and supporting the broader accounting team with reconciliations, reporting, and audit preparation. The position works closely with the CFO/COO and Accounting Manager. This is a full-time, 100% in-office role based in Honolulu. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Review, process, and pay invoices and monthly obligations Monitor expenses for proper classification and documentation Perform monthly reconciliations for bank, credit, and investment accounts Reconcile all bank and credit accounts Maintain prepaid and petty cash accounts Conduct daily banking activities Post and balance entries to the general ledger Prepare 1099s and other tax-related forms Assist with employee benefits administration, including health insurance and retirement Assist with preparation for annual financial audits and other program audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred, but not required) Experience with billing, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Team-oriented, flexible, and comfortable in a collaborative environment Work Schedule Monday through Friday during regular business hours Saturday may be required based on business needs (will be compensated accordingly) Position is 100% on-site Equal Opportunity Employer Ham Produce & Seafood is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
