Job Description

For immediate consideration contact Lisa James at (859)788-3684We are looking for an experienced and driven Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable operations at our client's corporate headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky. This role is vital to ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement of the company's payables processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, foster team development, and maintain the highest levels of detail orientation and integrity.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the accounts payable department, overseeing operations for over 2,000 vendors across multiple entities.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering detail-oriented growth and building a high-performing department.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for payables-related systems, ensuring efficient design and maintenance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within accounts payable operations and implement solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of year-end compliance documents, including 1099 forms.
  • Address and resolve vendor issues promptly to maintain strong relationships and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
