Accounts Payable & Receivable Supervisor - HealthWest

Under the general direction of the Director of Finance, the Accounts Payable & Receivable Supervisor oversees, implements, and supervises all activities related to the HealthWest's Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations within the HealthWest finance office. The Accounts Payable & Receivable Supervisor ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, monitors compliance with policies and regulations, evaluates current AP processes, and implements improvements as needed. In addition to Accounts Payable oversight, the Accounts Payable & Receivable Supervisor also provides leadership and coordination of AR functions, ensuring accurate, miscellaneous receivable billing, timely collection, proper revenue recognition, and compliance with payer and governmental requirements. This includes supervising staff responsible for AR processes, monitoring outstanding receivables, resolving billing issues, and implementing procedures that strengthen internal controls and support the financial stability of HealthWest. This position works closely with internal departments, external vendors, and auditors; supervises a team of technical and clerical staff; and exercises significant independent judgment and initiative. The Accounts Payable & Receivable Supervisor applies professional accounting principles, demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, and represents the Director of Finance in departmental meetings and public forums as needed.
