Lead Our Accounts Payable Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of our centralized Accounts Payable department supporting a growing portfolio of managed senior living communities. Lead, coach, and develop our Lead Accounts Payable Specialist while fostering accountability through Health Dimensions Group's EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) leadership model. Review invoices, expense reports, and payment documentation to ensure proper approvals, coding accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies. Manage vendor payment schedules while balancing organizational cash flow priorities. Ensure Accounts Payable activities are completed accurately and timely in preparation for month-end close. Oversee annual 1099 processing and vendor payment compliance.
Drive Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve Accounts Payable workflows, efficiencies, and internal controls. Partner with and oversee our offshore Accounts Payable support team, ensuring adherence to HDG Accounts Payable core processes. Lead the onboarding and offboarding of managed communities onto HDG Accounts Payable platforms and processes. Support non-centralized communities by providing training, guidance, and ongoing process support. Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to establish timelines, expectations, and performance measures across our managed communities.
Collaborate & Build Relationships:
Serve as the primary resource for resolving complex Accounts Payable questions from community leaders, vendors, and internal business partners. Develop and maintain strong working relationships across Finance, Operations, and our managed communities. Provide education and training on Accounts Payable best practices and HDG core processes. Partner on special projects and initiatives that support organizational growth and continuous improvement. What You Bring to the
Table Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required. 3-5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience required. Experience with virtual card payment programs is preferred.
Technical & Leadership Skills:
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
