We are locally owned and operated with a strong culture and work ethic. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable function. This role is responsible for invoicing, collections, payment posting, customer communication, and managing AR staff. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Must be a self-starter able to work independently. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation Manage collections efforts and follow up on past-due accounts in a professional and timely manner Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and account discrepancies Supervise, train, and support accounts receivable staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with internal policies Prepare AR reports and aging schedules for management review Issue lien waivers according to state and local laws Collaborate with accounting and other departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes Ensure accurate data entry and system integrity within accounting software Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable Prior experience in a supervisory or management role preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Benefits package including health, PTO, and retirement Opportunity to grow with a stable, mid-sized company Collaborative and supportive work environment
