Job Description
Description Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage and lead the accounts payable team, including training, workflow management, and performance evaluations. + Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, check runs, wire transfers, and expense reimbursements. + Develop, implement, and monitor AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. + Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. + Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve account issues, and negotiate payment terms as necessary. + Prepare month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable. + Support audits and provide required documentation. + Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and accounting, to optimize processes and support business objectives.Requirements Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. + Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role; supervisory experience is strongly preferred. + Strong knowledge of AP processes, systems, and relevant regulations. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in AP/accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Effective communication and leadership abilities.
