Job Description
We are recruiting an Accounts Receivable Manager for a growing company in the Raleigh area. You will lead the day-to-day management of accounts receivable operations, collections, cash application, customer account management, and order-to-cash activities. This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure efficient processes, strong customer relationships, and timely collection of outstanding receivables. Responsibilities Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including collections, cash application, account reconciliations, and dispute resolution. Monitor customer account balances, aging reports, unapplied cash, and collection trends to proactively identify and address risks. Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve account discrepancies and outstanding receivables in a timely manner. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and analysis. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts and internal business partners. Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency across the order-to-cash function. Lead, coach, and develop a team while establishing performance expectations and supporting professional growth. Prepare and analyze key performance metrics, including aging, collections effectiveness, dispute resolution, and cash application performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational priorities, customer service initiatives, and business objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience within Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit, Order-to-Cash, or related financial operations. Experience within life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, distribution, or other highly regulated industries.
