Full time exempt Primary Role position overview: The Breastfeeding Shop is a nationally recognized Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider dedicated to supporting new and expecting moms through insurance-covered breast pumps and postpartum care products. We are seeking a Billing Manager to lead our revenue cycle operations and support our growing team. The Billing Manager will oversee all aspects of billing and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement from insurance payers. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and healthcare billing experience, preferably in DME. Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations Revenue Cycle Management Oversee billing operations including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and AR follow-up Monitor AR and ensure timely collections Identify denial trends and implement solutions Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers Accounts Receivable (AR) Oversight Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize follow-ups Resolve denied or rejected claims Improve collection rates and reduce days in AR Team Leadership & Development Manage and mentor billing team members Set KPIs and performance expectations Provide training on billing and compliance updates Reporting & Analytics Generate and analyze billing and financial reports Track KPIs such as AR days and denial rates Process Improvement & Compliance Identify workflow inefficiencies and improve processes Ensure HIPAA compliance and audit readiness Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with intake and operations teams to resolve discrepancies Support on-boarding of new insurance contracts Qualifications Bachelor's degree, Billing Certifications desired. 3-5+ years of healthcare billing experience DME experience preferred Experience managing AR and leading teams Strong knowledge of insurance claims and denial management Experience with billing systems (Brightree preferred) Strong analytical and communication skills The Breastfeeding Shop is for mothers who need proper help, guidance, and accessories to help them with nursing their babies, The Breastfeeding Shop brings the best of all.
