To Apply for this Job Click Here Beacon Hill Staffing Group is working with a growing organization to identify an experienced AR/AP Manager in the New York City area. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who excels in accounts receivable, billing, collections, and process improvement within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including billing, collections, account reconciliations, and customer account maintenance. Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice review, approvals, and payment coordination. Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and help improve cash collection efforts. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries. Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, customer service, and sales to address account-related matters. Prepare AR aging, collections, and cash flow reports for management. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure financial records are up to date. Identify opportunities to improve billing, collections, and AP processes, increasing efficiency and strengthening internal controls. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting function. Experience managing customer accounts, aging reports, and collections activities. Strong understanding of billing systems and financial processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Experience with billing or revenue management systems. Telecommunications, technology, subscription-based, or recurring revenue industry experience. Previous experience supporting process improvement initiatives or system optimization projects.
