Job DescriptionManage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable Encoding function.

Essential Functions1. Supervise and provide daily direction to the team, including hiring, coaching, training, and conducting performance evaluations2. Review and approves vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to policy3. Support the development of procedures, participate in system enhancement testing, and implement updates to maintain compliance4. Monitor and communicate KPIs to the AP Manager to track performance, productivity, and process efficiency5. Oversee vendor maintenance, including onboarding, record updates, and compliance documentation to ensure accurate and reliable vendor data6. Respond to department related inquiries via email and phone call7. Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level8. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures9. Complete other duties as assigned QualificationsWe are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding communities.

Education Required:

 Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required

Experience Required:

Minimum five years' experience in accounting or related area required •Minimum one-year supervisory experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge:

Advanced Microsoft Office skills Experience with Infor Financial & Supply Management or comparable enterprise systemsExperience with invoice management platforms, including SAP ConcurStrong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Strong teamwork, problem solving, conflict management, influencing, and negotiation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate financial principles and practices with non-finance team members Strong leadership skills Ability to work with and collaborate with other departmentsAdditional Information Travel required less than 5%
