The accounts receivable manager will oversee accounts receivable entries for cash applications and credit memo processing. The accounts receivable manager will be responsible to manage and track all customer sales terms and discount programs by working closely with sales team to keep customer terms current. Accounts receivable manager will also be responsible for reconciling accounts receivables at each month-end and ensure all monthly customer statements are correct and reconciled. This role is vital in maintaining company liquidity through strong collection management, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring adherence to company's standards and accounting policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting for receivables, collections management, and both internal and external customer service. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting activities for accounts receivable management, including general ledger accounting, reconciliation processes and account problem solving. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for accounts receivables with accuracy and timeliness. Manage on boarding process and entry into ERP for new customers per company's on-boarding policies and form. Communicate effectively with all areas of company and users of accounts receivables data. Oversee internal controls related to accounts receivable reporting. Collaborate with auditors during audits; prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries related to accounts receivables. Utilize Business Central ERP to streamline operations; manage and oversee proper data entry and system integrity. Work closely with all accounting team members; foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial practices. Skills Working knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition accounting practices. Experience in technical accounting skills including double entry bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, debits & credits management. Proficiency with accounting ERP software; experience with Microsoft Business Central and EDI setup is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in cash collections and customer service. Problem solving skills for unexpected issues. Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting financial information clearly.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
