About the Role We are a manufacturer of precision elastomer and plastic seals serving oil & gas, mining, and water distribution markets, specializing in small-series production across 8,000+ SKUs annually. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to own invoicing and collections across our US and UK operations. This is an on-site role based at our Houston, TX office. Following our recent NetSuite ERP migration, the position offers a strong opportunity to modernize and standardize AR processes that have not been reviewed in years. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle for US and UK entities, including customer invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Oversee intercompany invoicing and reconciliation between group entities, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement.
- Monitor aging, drive collection efforts, and reduce DSO while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Review, document, and improve AR workflows in NetSuite, leveraging the new ERP to increase automation and efficiency.
- Establish and report on AR KPIs (DSO, overdue balances, cash forecasting) to the Comptroller.
- Partner with sales, customer service, and operations to resolve billing disputes and credit issues.
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and audit requirements across both regions. Requirements
- 5-7 years of accounts receivable experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with a modern ERP; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of both external customer invoicing and intercompany processes.
- Experience managing AR across multiple currencies and jurisdictions (US and UK a plus).
- Process-improvement mindset with the ability to document and redesign workflows.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Nice to Have
