Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation, has an opening for a Temporary Sr. Accounts Receivable/Credit Analyst/Manager , located in Houston, TX who will be employed through the third-party staffing agency named above. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciliation of accounts, identifying the root cause of issues, and clearing past-due accounts within our Accounts Receivables department as well as assist with customer credit analysis.. Essential Job Functions Review accounts receivable portfolio and assist the collection specialists to identify focus accounts and invoices using a risk-based approach Work with collection specialist to prepare and review account summaries, reconciliations, including identifying and developing strategies to reconcile, prioritize, and clear accounts Assist team members with root cause analysis for reconciling items. Actively engage daily by providing guidance to other departments (customer service, sales, billing, tax, pricing, etc.) to communicate and address identified issues. Assist management with special projects and ad hoc reporting such as credit limit utilization, credit block reporting, credit analysis, working capital and DSO variance analysis. Assist with process and procedures documentation, including suggesting continuous process improvement opportunities. Essential Job Requirements Bachelor's degree•; Accounting, Finance, or related degree strongly preferred. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 4 years Finance or Accounting related experience. Direct working knowledge of the order to cash and procure to pay process flows. Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to recognize and resolve process problems; critical thinking and analytical skills required. Action oriented, ability to lead the assigned tasks and work independently SAP Credit and Collection Module experience strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Products is required (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Intermediate Excel skills required Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred. •Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university. •No form of employment sponsorship will be provided to applicants not authorized to work in the US.
