We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Government Supervisor to join our Billing Office team! Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Two-year business degree preferred or 5 years experience in hospital billing support functions Experience and knowledge of Medicare Bad Debt regulations, credit balance processing and self pay management Three (3) years healthcare experience preferred. OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for oversight of assigned Business Office Collectors and Support Staff. Assists in managing rehabilitation and long-term acute care accounts receivable operations, Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, and credit balance portfolios. Provides leadership and support to ensure effective AR management, timely reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and resolution of outstanding accounts.
