GED Full Job Description Position Summary:
This position is responsible for auditing and documenting incoming and outgoing goods for the Distribution Center. Performs audits / checks at any process in the Distribution Center as deemed necessary by management. Inspect stock cartons for quality defects listed on the DC Audit Check sheet. Correct cases that have a quality problems and/or communicate with the appropriate associates to ensure issues are corrected. Compile daily reports summarizing quality audits and provide to manager / Crewleader. Generate weekly reports for DC and department management (may include entering audit data into system). May communicate with source plants regarding quality issues and concerns. Communicate with department managers and employees on identified quality issue and concerns. Complete appropriate quality forms for rejected cases and poor quality work by employees. Handle cases and utilize tape guns and cutting knifes to open and reseal cases. May be required to lift cases of various weights and sizes for auditing purposes.
Minimum Job Experience Required:
3 months with FTL at entry level position preferred. Previous quality related work experience a plus. High School diploma or equivalent required. Basic mathematical skills.
