As an Audit Manager on our Government Services team , you'll work with organizations that shape communities-state agencies, municipalities, school districts, public universities, and more. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engagements while serving as a trusted advisor and team leader in a highly visible, mission-driven space. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through delivery. Review workpapers, oversee audit procedures, and ensure quality and timeliness. Serve as a trusted advisor to government and public-sector clients. Manage client relationships and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams. Provide guidance on complex accounting, reporting, and compliance matters. Identify opportunities to expand services and support practice growth. Leadership & Team Development Coach, mentor, and develop team members. Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback. Manage workloads and foster a collaborative, accountable team environment. What Sets This Role Apart Work with mission-driven public sector clients impacting communities. Engage in technically complex and meaningful audit work. Support transparency, accountability, and the effective use of public resources. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 6+ years of audit experience. Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with government or public-sector clients preferred. Familiarity with GASB standards and CPA certification preferred.
