Job Description

FUNCTION
:
LEAD AUDITOR / DOCUMENT CONTROL TITLE OF POSITION
: Quality Administrator

REPLACEMENT IN CASE OF ABSENCE
: Quality Manager
GENERAL MISSION
Works with all departments and corporate management to maintain, track, create, edit and publish documents for the plant. Schedule and manage internal audits. Follow open audit actions and see to closure.
SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES
Maintain Quality records per inspection instructions and procedures and as required by
IATF-16949.
Understand customer requirements and follow the related inspection instructions or other training documents.
  • Maintain and track all controlled documents within Heber Springs Plant for both Buildings 1 and 2:
  • -Create new documents
  • -Update and modify old documents
  • -File and store original documents
  • -Translation of documentation from French to English
  • -Archive old documents
  • -Manage all documents on the floor
  • -Maintain Document Matrix (SJI Doc)
  • -Migration from old document control system to SJI Doc
  • -Implementation of improvement projects to stream line document system (IE paperless)
  • -Follow document approvals
  • Work with Process Engineers and Managers to implement documents for training of employees. Track and issue training forms when documents are updated by maintaining Training Matrix.
  • Manage the internal Quality Management System (QMS):
  • -Ensure internal auditors have the proper training in QMS and Customer specific reqmts. (CSR)
  • -Schedule internal audits (Process, Workstation, QMS, and LPA)
  • -Prepare internal audits, assign to auditors, review after completion, and follow up on actions
  • -Document and communicate internal audit results
  • -Drive corrective actions and continual improvement as a result of audits
  • Supplier audits to CSR and QMS requirements
  • Train and qualify internal auditors. Assess training effectiveness, areas for improvement, and continuous training of auditors
  • Working knowledge of
SJI DOC, SJI
GPAO, and Microsoft Office Programs. Other duties as required.
CONTRIBUTION QUALITY, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT NOTE
This position has been designated as a "Safety Sensitive" position because a person performing the duties of this position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to the health and safety of him/herself or others. To keep abreast of the requirements related to its activity of quality safety and environment (QSE); Observe the QSE which are in the form of sheets of instructions; Back the information to his N + 1 in case of malfunction or difference noted; Maintain compliance and clean updated equipment at its disposal; Manage documents relating to its service quality; Alert anyone in its activity does not respect the QSE instructions;
  • Participate actively in the continuing improvement in QSE;
  • Ensure communication clear and precise of all requirements of the customer within the company;
  • Being associated with all studies likely to achieve 'Total quality'.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL
: High School Dimploma. Previous
IATF/TS 16949
internal auditor training and experience preferred. Global Exemplar Certification ( IATF Lead Auditor with focus on Supplier audits). If candidate is not already certified, SJI will require certification to be obtained.
