By mid-morning, you're on the production floor comparing product appearance, composition, and functionality to drawings, customer specifications, and regulatory expectations. After lunch, you coach auditors, assign audit scopes, and observe practices in-process. You wrap the day by updating the QMS training course you own—complete with a knowledge-check quiz—then document findings, confirm corrective and preventive actions are effective, and prepare insights for senior leadership. Along the way, you stay current on industry regulations and standards so our system never falls behind. What you'll do Develop and implement AS 9100 audit plans that reflect internal procedures and regulatory needs. Execute audits to plan, from opening meetings through closure and verification activities. Define and maintain product conformity criteria aligned to drawings, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Evaluate processes and outputs for quality in appearance, composition, and performance. Lead and delegate work to audit team members; oversee execution and follow-up. Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and QMS best practices. Ensure products consistently meet customer and industry benchmarks. Document nonconformities, drive robust corrective actions, and verify their effective implementation. Author clear, data-driven audit reports and present results to senior management. Continuously monitor evolving regulations and standards to keep the QMS current. What you bring Bachelor's degree in business management, quality management, or a related field—or an equivalent blend of education and experience. 5+ years as a quality auditor across
AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC
17025, and/or
ISO 14001
within a related industry. Formal AS 9100 auditor training completed through an accredited AS 9100 regulatory/oversight body. Proficiency with quality management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Post-secondary coursework in Aerospace preferred. ASQ certification is advantageous. Deep knowledge of industry standards, exceptional attention to detail, and strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Core capabilities
