  • Aerospace Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Auditor with a strong aerospace manufacturing background to support quality system compliance, audit execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role will focus on AS9100 auditing, production process evaluations, corrective actions, and employee training related to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerospace quality systems, strong auditing capabilities, and a deep understanding of
AS9100, ISO
standards, and manufacturing quality processes. Essential Responsibilities Develop and implement AS9100 audit plans for products and manufacturing processes Execute internal and process audits in compliance with AS9100 standards Evaluate production processes for compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements Establish standards for product conformity based on engineering drawings and specifications Conduct audits related to appearance, composition, functionality, and manufacturing quality Support and verify corrective actions resulting from audit findings Create detailed audit reports and present findings to leadership Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and compliance requirements Assist in developing QMS-level training materials and knowledge verification quizzes Monitor compliance with
AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC
17025, and
ISO 14001
standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and audit readiness Stay current on industry regulations, standards, and aerospace quality requirements
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Auditing within aerospace or related manufacturing industries Strong experience with:
AS9100 ISO 9001 ISO/IEC 17025 ISO 14001
Experience conducting internal, supplier, and process audits Strong understanding of QMS systems and regulatory compliance Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and audit reporting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems
Preferred:
AS9100 Auditor training/certification from an approved regulatory body ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification Aerospace industry experience Experience developing quality training materials and employee education programs
Pay:
$95,000.00 per year
