Job Description
- Government Recovery Specialist
Location:
- Costa Mesa, CA
Pay Range:
- $25 - $37 per hour
Employment Type:
- Full-Time
Position Summary:
- Are you an expert in Medicare billing and government audits?
What You'll Do:
- + Serve as the primary point of contact for all government audit activities, including RAC, MAC, TPE, CERT, OIG, QIO, Medicaid, and Medi-Cal audits.

Required:
_ + High school diploma or equivalent experience (grandfathered employees hired prior to 2011 without HS diploma are eligible) + Minimum of 3 years' experience in Medicare billing, follow up, and appeals in an acute care setting + 1-3 years' experience with healthcare regulatory audits and appeals + Demonstrated experience with CMS billing, payment, and reimbursement methodologies + Strong understanding of privacy and security regulations, release of information, and CMS rules + Experience managing complex projects in a healthcare environment + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) _Preferred:
_ + 5+ years' experience in an acute healthcare setting + 3+ years' experience in healthcare regulatory audits and appeals + Direct experience with RAC, MAC, TPE, CERT, OIG, Medicaid, Medi-Cal, and other regulatory audits + 5+ years' Medicare billing, follow up, and appeals experience + Knowledge of utilization management process, coding, and medical necessity criteria If this sounds like something you are qualified for, click Apply now!Pay Details:
