Our client, a reputable public accounting firm , is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, supervise teams, and serve as a trusted client contact. This role offers a blend of technical accounting, engagement leadership, and relationship management within a collaborative firm culture. Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all phases of audit engagements
- Supervise, review, and mentor seniors and staff
- Review audit reports and financial statements for GAAP and standards compliance
- Coordinate engagement timelines, staffing, and workflow
- Serve as primary client contact and advisor
- Resolve complex accounting and auditing matters
- Conduct audit and accounting research using authoritative guidance
- Utilize audit technology and firm platforms effectively
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and firm leadership Qualifications
- 7+ years of public accounting audit experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field)
- Active CPA or CPA?eligible required
- Strong GAAP and auditing standards expertise
- Experience leading and developing audit teams
- Proficiency with audit/accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements independently while collaborating across teams ?
