Position Summary:
The Quality Auditor is responsible for supporting quality objectives within Bulk Cable and Assembly manufacturing. Performs internal manufacturing and QMS audits, supports third-party regulatory audits, and leads failure investigations and corrective actions (including 8D). Verifies corrective actions, manages risk-reduction activities, and controls nonconforming product and MRB processes. Supports manufacturing with quality issues, communicates quality updates, assists Quality Lab inspections, conducts functional and electrical testing, supports R&D testing, manages the calibration system, and participates in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.Qualifications & Requirements:
High School diploma and relevant work experience required Minimum 5 years work experience in a quality and lean environment preferred Perform and document results of internal Quality Management System audits Support and participate in regulatory or 3rd party audits Support and maintain the calibration system Mentor and assist manufacturing personnel in best practices and quality requirements Engage and lead containment activities in the event of product defects Participate in Root Cause Analysis and formulation of Corrective Action Plans Develop and update procedures and Visual Product Standards as necessary Monitor and follow up with corrective action owners to ensure timely and appropriate completion of CARs(Corrective Action Reports) and NCRs (Non Conformance Reports) and tasks within Quality Database Identify opportunities for improvement Other duties as assigned as needed Our core values - Accountability , Collaboration , and Empowerment (ACE) - are the foundation of how we operate and drive success.
