Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do:
Evaluating/testing business process internal controls, performing financial statement audits, and providing audit readiness support Conducting internal control assessments and testing in accordance with OMB Circular A-123 requirements Supporting management control programs Conducting entity level controls, risk management, and fraud risk assessments Providing audit support and remediation activities such as reviewing deficiencies communicated by the auditor, tracking and responding to audit requests, developing corrective action plans, and executing remediation with a focus on internal controls over financial reporting and management financial statement assertions
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics or a related field from an accredited college or university 1-3+ years of experience in public-sector consulting Strong organizational and communication skills Interest in growing a career in Government/Federal consulting Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems, apply a variety of analytical solutions, and participate in client-facing discussions and meetings Ability to work in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment Willingness to utilize project management best practices within an organization to produce high quality deliverables in a timely manner Must be able to OBTAIN and

What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master's degree Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Knowledge of and experience with federal financial management activities, including but not limited to federal accounting, financial statement audits, audit readiness, audit remediation, internal control assessment, financial risk management, and other relevant federal information assurance laws, regulations, and guidance. Knowledge of federal laws, regulations, and requirements. Proficiency in Google Workspace Suite The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00•124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
