Job Description:

A lot of Audit Seniors quietly reach a point where they realise they enjoy audit work itself. What they no longer enjoy is the culture surrounding it. The unnecessary pressure. The constant fire drills. The expectation that every busy season should take over your life. This opportunity is different. This is a long established CPA firm in Fort Myers with just under 50 people and six Partners, several of whom trained within Big 8 environments. The technical standards are strong, but the culture is measured, stable and realistic. They are not trying to build a revolving door of burned out auditors.

• Retirement Plans With clients ranging from smaller local organizations through to audits exceeding $80m in revenue.

The role:

You would step into a true Audit Senior position where you will:

• Lead audit engagements and fieldwork
• Review and support junior staff
• Work directly with Managers and Partners
• Build relationships with clients
• Take ownership of engagements rather than simply ticking boxes The firm is looking for someone with:
• Around 3 to 5 years of external audit experience within a US CPA firm
• Strong communication skills
• CPA or active CPA track preferred This is a fully onsite role in Fort Myers, so applicants will need to be based locally or within commutable distance.
