Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements across a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, software, technology, staffing, nonprofit organizations, and professional services. This role provides substantial client interaction and oversight of audit teams, requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage projects effectively.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising the planning and execution of audit and review engagements. Leading engagement teams, managing staff assignments, and providing on-the-job training and mentorship. Preparing and overseeing audit planning documents, including time budgets, audit programs, and planning memos. Reviewing workpapers to ensure audit documentation supports conclusions. Drafting and reviewing financial statements, management letters, and audit reports. Maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and guidance. Ensuring adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum of three years of public accounting audit experience. Experience leading audit engagements as an in-charge or supervisor. CPA license preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and financial reporting. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
