Job Description

Job Description In this role, you will enjoy the autonomy to manage client audit engagements from start to finish while sharpening your leadership skills through training and mentoring junior staff. You will work directly with a sophisticated client base spanning diverse industries, including construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, service, technology, and international business.
How You Will Spend Your Time Engagement Management:
Plan, budget, schedule, and execute assigned client engagements from start to finish.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements, related reports, and comprehensive work papers.
Technical Research:
Analyze and report on evolving accounting, auditing, and regulatory issues.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and mentor engagement staff and interns to support their professional growth.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with managers and principals to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.
Client & Peer Relations:
Cultivate strong client relationships and participate in networking activities to maintain contact with business peers.
Travel:
Travel up to 15% of the year, depending on client needs.
Who You Are Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's of Accounting is highly preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience within a public accounting firm.
Credentials:
CPA license active or currently CPA-eligible.
Project Management:
A skilled multi-tasker capable of managing multiple engagements and competing priorities without sacrificing quality.
Analytical Skills:
Strong research, analytical, and audit project management capabilities.
