Job Description

Job Overview Anderson, Lower, Whitlow, P.C. (ALW) is a full-service local CPA firm providing audit and accounting services, tax planning and compliance, personal and business financial planning, and a wide array of consulting services. We are a growth-oriented firm with immediate career advancement opportunities. ALW is seeking a full-time experienced audit professional (in-charge) to help plan and perform audit and review engagements across various industries. Our firm has a unique combination of diverse and challenging audit and review clientele. You will be an integral part of the audit team and will work closely with the audit manager, partner, and each client representative. Minimal overnight travel is required. Salary commensurate with experience. ALW provides competitive compensation and benefits including: Reduced summer hours with flexible work schedule 120 hours of paid time off and nine paid holidays annually Discretionary annual bonus potential Discretionary employer profit-sharing contributions annually Immediate eligibility in the Firm's Safe Harbor 401(k) Plan, including 3% employer contribution Annual performance and compensation reviews Medical & dental insurance coverage Long term disability and group life insurance coverage CPA reimbursement/bonus program Family-friendly, compassionate, and close-knit working environment All candidates are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to candidates with: Three or more years of public accounting experience Ability to communicate with clarity, professionalism, and sensitivity with co-workers and clients Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills, judgment, and decision-making abilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) CPA or working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam
