Job Description:
Senior Internal Audit Manager - SOX & Global Controls | $150K-$165K + Bonus | Onsite Lead Global Audits. Shape the SOX Program. Develop the Team. If you're an experienced audit leader ready to step into a highly visible, hands-on role, this opportunity puts you at the center of a growing internal audit function. You'll lead audits end-to-end, partner directly with finance leadership, and play a key role in strengthening internal controls across a complex, multi-location environment. What You'll Do:
Lead multiple audit engagements end-to-end across financial, operational, and SOX areas Review audit workpapers, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with ICFR standards Evaluate control design and effectiveness, identifying risks and improvement opportunities Present audit findings and recommendations to leadership and external stakeholders Mentor and develop audit staff while strengthening audit processes and methodologies
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of audit experience (Big 4 or large public accounting strongly preferred) 3+ years of leadership experience managing or mentoring audit teams Deep expertise in SOX, ICFR, internal controls, and risk-based auditing Proven ability to lead audits independently in a fast-paced environment CPA, CIA, or CISA certification
