Job Description

About the Opportunity We are partnering with a highly respected financial services organization seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. This individual will play a key role in executing risk-based audits across the organization and will have significant exposure to leadership and business stakeholders. This position is ideal for an experienced auditor who enjoys owning audits from start to finish and wants to work in a collaborative environment that values professional development, critical thinking, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute audits through the full audit lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, testing, reporting, and issue validation Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and identify key risks and controls Perform operational and financial audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices Execute audit testing procedures and document audit workpapers Prepare audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management Partner with business leaders to develop remediation plans and validate corrective actions Support risk-based assurance activities and special projects as needed Assist with regulatory and compliance-related audit activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 5+ years of Internal Audit or Public Accounting experience Experience independently leading and executing audits from planning through reporting Strong understanding of internal controls and the COSO framework Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various levels of the organization Preferred Experience Internal Audit experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries Public Accounting experience with financial services or banking clients Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are a plus Apply Now
