Full Job Description Starting Pay Rate:

$21.50 ($22.00 after 3 months, $22.50 after 6 months)

Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am, with mandatory overtime as needed

Quality Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Auditor to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring and inspecting parts throughout the facility to ensure compliance with company quality standards. Key duties include identifying product defects, performing inspections, monitoring coating thickness, recording torque data, and determining whether rejected products should be scrapped or reworked. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of quality expectations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and perform random inspections of parts throughout the facility to ensure compliance with quality standards Understand product quality standards and appropriately identify defects and non-conforming materials Inspect parts using fixtures that simulate vehicle frames and record torque data accurately Monitor products for proper coating thickness, including back coat and chrome finishes Review bumpers placed on rails at approximately 34-inch height by production staff for quality inspection Evaluate products rejected by inspectors throughout the facility and determine whether products should be scrapped or reworked back into production Lift and place scrap bumpers (up to 36 pounds) into trash hoppers at approximately 44-inch height Place bumpers designated for rework onto racks for return to the polish line Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings appropriately Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times Additional duties as assigned Shift is 8 hours. May work overtime up to 10-12 hours. Two 10-minute breaks per shift and one 20-minute meal break. Employees get paid the entire time they are clocked in and do not clock out for breaks, if taken on campus.

Qualifications:

Must understand quality standards and demonstrate the ability to identify defects appropriately Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections and documentation Ability to communicate effectively in English Must be able to demonstrate understanding of departmental work instructions and quality requirements written in English High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to carry bumpers weighing up to 50 pounds for distances of 15-25 feet Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach above head and below shoulder level, talk, and hear Required to push, pull, reach, and lift materials throughout the workday Ability to place scrap bumpers into hoppers at approximately 44-inch height Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment throughout the shift
