Job Description

Audit Manager Indianapolis, IN 46260 $90,000 - $150,000 base salary A well‑established public accounting firm is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor audit staff. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong public accounting experience who is looking to take on increased responsibility and grow within a collaborative firm environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and execute multiple audit engagements from start to finish Review audit workpapers and financial statements to ensure quality and compliance Serve as the primary point of contact for audit clients Supervise, train, and mentor audit associates and seniors Ensure audits are performed in accordance with GAAS and firm standards Identify and communicate accounting, internal control, and process improvement opportunities Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation Support leadership with client retention and business development initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) Active CPA license (required) 5+ years of public accounting audit experience Prior experience leading engagements and managing staff Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards Excellent communication and client‑facing skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines Compensation & Opportunity Competitive base salary range of $90K-$150K, depending on experience Clear path for advancement into senior leadership roles Supportive, team‑oriented firm culture Diverse client base and challenging, engaging audit work Emphasis on professional development and career growth #LI-AC9
