Senior Auditor

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join a growing public accounting firm in Wichita, KS. This position is ideal for professionals with strong audit and assurance experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and client-focused environment. The candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, reviewing financial statements and workpapers, supervising staff, and working directly with clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures Supervise and mentor junior audit staff during engagements Perform risk assessments and analytical review procedures Ensure compliance with GAAP and auditing standards Manage multiple client engagements and meet project deadlines Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and firm leadership Assist with engagement budgeting, scheduling, and workflow coordination Research and resolve accounting and audit-related issues Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent client service

Requirements:

2+ years of recent public accounting audit experience Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CPA eligibility preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
