Jobs › West Bridgewater, MA › Audit Coordinator Brockton Hospital Audit Coordinator West Bridgewater, MA Apply Coordinates the audit process for all on-site and off-site medical related audit requests for acute and ambulatory sites. Oversees the process of logging, tracking, and responding to denials. Ensures all deadlines are met. Prioritizes multiple simultaneous audit requests in order to ensure varying deadlines are met. Prepare all documentation requested to include, but not limited to, medical record documentation, billing, invoices, physician orders, ect. Collaborates with various Hospital and physician office personnel to retrieve required documentation. Identifies and is able to locate in the medical record specific reports requested. Maintains database of all audit requests. Coordinates required system access (e.g. electronic medical record, Billing modules) and workstation spaces needs for on-site auditors. Refers unusual problems to the Health Information Manager for review and further direction. Participates in Lean Problem Solving methodology. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. Commits to recognize and respect cultural diversity for all customers (internal and external). Communicates effectively with internal and external customers with respect of differences in cultures, values, beliefs and ages, utilizing interpreters when needed. Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma required. Completion of Medical Records program (RHTT/RHIA) preferred. Previous coding, auditing, and medical records department experience required; Previous meditech experience preferred. Active Filters Audit Coordinator West Bridgewater, MA Clear All Apply
