401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Position Summary The Internal Dock Auditor / Purchasing role is responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in outbound shipments while supporting purchasing operations. This position verifies shipments prior to departure, maintains inventory accuracy, and assists with procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of goods. Key Responsibilities Outbound Dock Auditing Inspect and verify outbound shipments for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation Compare packing slips, shipping documents, and customer orders against staged goods Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages prior to shipment release Ensure all outbound loads meet company procedures and customer requirements Maintain accurate records of audit checks and findings Purchasing Support Assist in creating and processing purchase orders Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, and delivery schedules Track orders and follow up on late or incomplete shipments Maintain purchasing records and vendor information Support supplier performance tracking Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in accounting, business, or related field 1-3 years of experience in auditing, or purchasing roles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of purchasing processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork High level of accuracy and accountability Time management and ability to multitask
