Job Description

Job Description We are looking for an Audit Manager with PCAOB audit experience who can lead engagements, make sound decisions, manage people well, and hold the line on quality. You will lead PCAOB audit engagements from planning through completion. You will manage teams, review work at a high level, address issues early, communicate clearly with clients and firm leadership, and make sure the file tells the right story. This role requires composure, professionalism, sound judgment, and follow-through. We are looking for someone who can lead with confidence, maintain quality under pressure, and help raise the bar across the practice. What You'll Do Lead and manage audits performed under PCAOB standards Own engagement execution from planning through issuance Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation with a sharp eye for quality, completeness, and support Identify risks, surface issues early, and drive resolution Lead the audit response to complex accounting areas, including equity transactions, stock-based compensation, warrants, convertible instruments, preferred stock, and other capital structure matters Manage budgets, deadlines, staffing, and engagement workflow without letting things drift Serve as a credible, professional point of contact for clients Coach, develop, and challenge seniors and staff Set the tone for accountability, responsiveness, and technical discipline Work closely with firm leadership on technical matters, client issues, and engagement performance Help strengthen the practice, not just manage your own engagements What We Are Looking For CPA required Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5+ years of public accounting audit experience Direct PCAOB audit experience required Strong command of PCAOB standards, U.S. GAAS, and
U.S. GAAP
Experience auditing equity transactions and related accounting matters, including stock-based compensation, warrants, convertible instruments, preferred stock, and complex capital structures Experience leading teams and reviewing complex audit work Strong client management skills and professional presence Strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to make decisions Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and does not need to be chased Who Will Do Well Here Take Pride in Your Work and care about the final product Think Like an Owner and step in when something needs to be fixed Value Teamwork and accountability Understand Work Life Integration as responsible leadership, planning, and sustainability
