KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory practice.Responsibilities:
Supervise activities on Federal Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) engagements, including reviewing risk identification, assessment, response, and monitoring (including program integration with management activities and program processes / documentation) Perform management review of engagement deliverables, working papers / supporting documentation, and provide oversight of staff. Work directly with Federal client management to develop and/or revise ERM program processes and communicate areas of improvement to KPMG management / clients Review / evaluate enterprise risk strategies, objectives, policies, and/or Federal business processes to successfully identify, manage, govern prioritized risks Provide high quality, professional day-to-day oversight of engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices to U.S. Federal government clients Led the development of strategies / implementation plans, policies / procedures, risk profiles / risk registers, risk assessments, and response plans, and results of relevant ERM lifecycle activities with findings / recommendations Lead Advisory project teams, assist client management to successfully complete engagement objectives, lead the design, preparation, and analysis of deliverablesQualifications:
A minimum of five years of federal financial management / government risk management experience; US Federal government consulting experience preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Experience identifying / analyzing enterprise risks, internal controls, compliance requirements, systems business processes, and reporting Experience / knowledge of Office of Management (OMB) guidelines, Committee of the Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) standards, and Government Accountability Office (GAO) Green book Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements Initial project will be located in the St. Louis, MO region, requires daily on-site presence Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries ("KPMG") complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
