Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic Deposit Operations team and become a vital part of delivering seamless banking experiences. In this role, you will perform audit and maintenance changes on deposit accounts ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all banking activities. Your expertise will support the bank's commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients while maintaining the integrity of financial operations. Position Summary:
Performs audit/maintenance, and deposit operations for the Deposit Operations Department which consist of the following: Principal Accountabilities Assist with the auditing of daily maintenance changes on deposit accounts and scan documents to the Branches. Assist with the auditing of new accounts daily. Assist with the audits of manual rate changes daily completed by the DP Dept. Assist with the audits dormant account removal daily to the report generated by the nightly update. Assist with the maintenance of accounts as requested. Assist with ACH Death notifications maintenance. Assist with Stop Payment report review. Assist with the support of the Internet Banking application, Customer service emails. Assist with the process of the charged off deposit accounts. Assistswith the online statement setup process. Assist with daily reporting of new and payments on charge off accounts. Assist with daily deposit functions as defined by supervisor. Assist with the weekly Rate Watch reporting. Assist with the weekly FRB Rates report. Assist with the Accuity SSI reporting. Follow policies and procedures related to deposit operations. Responsible for all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act. Knowledge and Skill Required Ability to organize. Good analytical skills and knowledge of basic accounting principles to research and interpret data. Effective interpersonal skills. Computer literate. Takes initiative. Strong detailed orientation. Education/Training/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous banking experience preferred, but not required. Strong typing, oral communication and organizational skills.
