THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for an AUDITOR, Position Description Numbers T5148P02/T5147P01/T5144P01, and is part of the MT J8 National Guard, G8 Internal Review.

Qualifications:

GENERAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have experience that has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities for:

• Skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately;
• Skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material;
• Ability to comprehend and/or apply problem solving and negotiating techniques;
• Skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings;
• Ability to prepare reports and presentation formats.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-09

Must have one of the following: A) 1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 grade level. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the audit occupational series and grade. (MUST address these experiences in detail on resume to be considered for this grade/position.) OR B) 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree. (MUST provide copies of all relevant transcripts to be considered for this position. Official transcripts may be required at a later date.) OR C) A combination of Specialized experience and Education equal to 100% of the requirements.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-11

Must have one of the following: A) 1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 grade level. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the audit occupational series and grade. (MUST address these experiences in detail on resume to be considered for this grade/position.) OR B) 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. (MUST provide copies of all relevant transcripts to be considered for this position. Official transcripts may be required at a later date.) OR C) A combination of Specialized experience and Education equal to 100% of the requirements.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-12

: Must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level. Experience which provided fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the audit occupational series and grade.
