Job Description

Job Overview Under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, performs daily gaming audits, maintains general ledger and various spreadsheets, reconciles accounts and investigates variances, performs activities related to credit applications approval. Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable and possess excellent communication skills. Individuals who are self-starting, analytical thinkers with above average math skills may apply. Your expertise will help safeguard our financial operations, support internal controls, and enhance overall financial transparency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your auditing skills within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment dedicated to excellence in financial management. Duties Performs daily vault audit including review of all vault and cage transactions and trace information to daily reconciliation and various gaming reports. Record daily journal entry into general ledger. Prepare daily revenue report for Directors. Process credit applications to include obtaining banking information, credit bureau reports. Review and file MTLs, CTRs and SARs. Perform month end account reconciliations. Other duties as assigned. Perform thorough audits of revenue transactions across various departments to verify accuracy and completeness. Reconcile accounts and review general ledger entries to identify discrepancies or irregularities. Prepare detailed financial reports, summaries, and documentation to support audit findings and management review. Collaborate with finance teams to implement risk management strategies and strengthen internal controls. Conduct internal audits focusing on revenue recognition, tax compliance, and adherence to governmental accounting standards. Assist in external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue processes and controls. Skills Strong understanding of SOX compliance, COSO frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements. Proficiency in financial report writing, analysis skills, and technical accounting concepts. Experience with
GAAP, GAAS
(Generally Accepted Auditing Standards), governmental accounting, and internal audit procedures. Knowledge of accounting software, financial software systems, and general ledger accounting tools. Familiarity with tax regulations, risk management practices, and corporate accounting principles. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Background in public accounting or financial services is highly desirable for a well-rounded perspective on auditing standards and practices.
