THE JOB:
The Manager, Internal Audit plays a key leadership role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of internal audit operations. This position oversees senior and staff auditors through all phases of the audit lifecycle
  • from planning and execution to reporting and follow-up
  • while ensuring audits are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with professional standards.
This role partners closely with management across the organization to communicate audit results, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong audit expertise, people leadership skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently under general direction. This is a hybrid onsite position with 3 days per week required in office at Borgata.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Assists managing audit staff and, in the planning, directing, and monitoring of internal audit operations, including assisting in interviewing, training, and evaluating staff; taking corrective actions to address performance problems. Supervises the audit staff during the review audit process through performing 2nd level review of the audits, reviewing documents, and reviewing audit memos. Supervises the audit staff in the identification, development, and documentation of audit issues and recommendations. Oversees the staff and senior communicating the results of audits via written reports and oral presentations to management. Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings. Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co‐workers. Represents internal audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Earned a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 3+ Years prior relevant experience or full‐time experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation, including two (2) years of supervisory or project management experience. Master's Degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field
  • Preferred. Experience in industry auditing or accounting, and in supervising and conducting audits in information systems and other areas pertinent to the industry
  • Preferred. Certification as a CIA, CPA, or CISA
  • Preferred.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $87,800.00
  • $117,100.
00 This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
