JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Auditor is responsible for reviewing, verifying and reconciling financial transactions and daily revenue activity across all gaming operations. This role ensures compliance with internal controls, state gaming regulations and company policies by performing detailed audits, investigating variances and preparing accurate reports for management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit all gaming according to established procedures and gaming regulations Review and analyze financial statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records Verify accuracy of revenue and statistical data by reconciling source documents, reports and system records Investigate variances, shortages, or irregularities and escalate findings to management Maintain organized records and documentation to support audit trails Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement Protect the confidentiality of sensitive financial and regulatory information Assist in count room Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years old Prior audit experience required; Gaming audit experience preferred Computer skills required with proficiency in Excel and other accounting or audit software Knowledge of financial and gaming regulations Must be able to comprehend all relevant information and documentation Strong organizational and communication skills Able to multi-task and meet required deadlines Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Requires prolonged sitting as well as standing and navigating throughout the casino Will include working weekends and holidays
CERTIFICATIONS
Must be able to obtain and maintain NV Gaming Control Board Registration (cost = approximately $140; renewed every 5 years)
