Job Description

Grodsky, Caporrino & Kaufman, LLP is actively seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our staff in a managerial capacity. The Audit Manager will plan and supervise all components of audit, review, and compilation engagements. He/she will be responsible for managing staff time and engagement budgets, reviewing workpapers and financial statements, planning and managing multiple auditing and accounting projects and client engagements simultaneously, and providing guidance to the audit team. This individual will use his/her leadership skills to mentor staff accountants and maintain job organization throughout the course of the engagement. We expect that the Audit Manager will build effective working relationships with clients, anticipate and address their concerns, and promptly identify and address any problems that may arise. The Audit Manager will independently research and resolve all legal, regulatory and technical issues that surface during assurance engagements. The Audit Manager will also be responsible for participating in the execution of audit procedures. The qualified candidate will have a strong knowledge of audit principles and policies, be proficient with computer platforms, and possess excellent analytical skills. He/she will be highly organized, possess a strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, and consistently demonstrate concise, accurate and organized workpaper technique.
Requirements:
Active CPA license Bachelor's degree in accounting 5 to 10 years of experience in a mid-size public accounting firm performing financial, operational, and system audits Strong review, research and analytical skills Ability to supervise, review, train and mentor junior staff Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines and work within time constraints

Pay:
