Duties Help As an Auditor, GS-0511-11/12, you will serve as an agent of the United Stes Property and Fiscal Officer on accounting, financial, and managerial issues th require examinion by a financial professional. You will perform quick response reviews, consulting and advisory services, risk management, liaison with external audit organizions, audit compliance and follow-up, and a variety of staff and systems accounting duties to analyze accounting records and to enhance the financial reports and operional da used by local management. Position is loced in the United Stes Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO). Incumbent reports to the Internal Review Division Chief. As senior evaluor, incumbent performs the most difficult work of the unit, and distributes and monitors the workload of lower-graded evaluors and provides advice and assistance to them. GENERAL EXPERIENCE

: Must have skill in collecting and analyzing da effectively, efficiently, and accurely; skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program merial; ability to comprehend and/or apply problem solving and negotiing techniques; skill in presenting formal training presentions and briefings; ability to prepare reports and presention forms.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

GS 11: Must have one year equivalent specialized experience to least the next lower grade. Must have experience utilizing professional accounting and auditing knowledge, provides recommendions in the solution of accounting and operional problems and implemention of new or changed regulions, procedures and analyses of automed systems. Must have experience reviewing automed accounting and financial systems and identifies the need for changes to enhance system capability to track and report financial reports and operional da used by local management. Must have experience utilizing professional accounting and audit skills to maintain oversight for implementing approprie laws, directives, and regulions of internal control programs and procedures. GS 12: Must have one year equivalent specialized experience to least the next lower grade. Must have experience performing a variety of assignments th are without precedent and th require considerable ingenuity in devising an approach. Must have experience utilizing professional accounting and audit skills to maintain oversight for implementing approprie laws, directives, and regulions of internal control programs and procedures. Must have experience performing complex professional accounting and review activities involving the analysis of the accounting records. Must have experience evaluing system logic and guidelines necessary for developing automed processes from other than accounting system software to enhance the analysis capability of the unit and other resource managers. EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

auditing; or a degree in a reled field such as business administrion, finance, public administrion or accounting. OR 2.

Combinion of educion and experience:

least 4 years of experience in Performance Auditing, or an equivalent combinion of performance auditing experience, college-level educion, and training th provided professional auditing knowledge.
