Since the dawn of the 20th century, Shubert has operated hundreds of theatres and produced hundreds of plays and musicals both in New York City and throughout the United States. Shubert currently owns and operates 17 Broadway theatres, six off-Broadway venues, and the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia. Shubert delivers innovative ticketing solutions via its Telecharge, API distribution, and private-label technology, offering unparalleled distribution and marketing to the theatre industry and beyond. Its consumer-facing brands—Telecharge for retail ticket sales and Broadway Inbound for tour operators and the travel industry—sell millions of tickets each year.
JOB TITLE

Box Office Auditor SALARY :
$50,000 to $55,000, depending on experience and skills, plus overtime.
SCHEDULED HOURS
: Schedule determined by department needs. Base schedule is 5 days/35 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday. Department hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 9:30am-5:30pm and Sunday 11am-6:00pm. Must be flexible regarding work schedule (holidays and overtime when required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job responsibilities/functions to include, but not to be limited to: Provide internal audit of box office activity - daily/weekly/monthly Complete box office on site monthly audits Complete monthly bank reconciliations Reconcile with STAR ticketing system and Accounting Department Audit event performance statements Communicate with internal departments (Accounting, Internal Audit, Client Payment Services, Finance, Facilities, Help Desk, etc.) as well as box offices including non-Shubert clients Perform general clerical duties and other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
: Ability to work in a team-based environment requiring flexibility and prioritization of tasks PC knowledge (Excel and Word) Basic math, accounting, and logic skills Attention to details Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and time management skills Familiarity with box office operations and experience with a computerized ticketing system, STAR, preferred.
