Purpose of Position The Auditor is responsible for completion of operational audits and evaluations of the NJUS fleet, facilities and departments as well as safety and compliance audits of new and existing authorized operators. All audits are performed in accordance with the NJUS Standards Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Authorized operator audits are conducted using the Charter Vendor Requirements Manual as the standard. Authorized operator audits are conducted biennially with evaluations conducted on years in between audits. Audits are of varying duration and complexity and may require the auditor to travel up to two weeks per month. Tasks and Responsibilities Prepare for audits and evaluations by reviewing operator manuals, past audit reports and other available information. Travel to and conduct on-site audits and evaluations of NJUS aircraft, facilities and departments and/or annual vendor reevaluations. Produce well written, detailed audit and evaluation reports documenting detailed audit/evaluation observations and noting areas of non-compliance or concern. Make recommendations for changes to processes and systems that will minimize risk, improve performance and productivity and ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. Assist the Manager, Audit Programs and Auditor, Senior's manage the resolution process for assigned audits and evaluations. Ensure vendors provide documented evidence of appropriate corrective actions taken for all audit/evaluation findings. Provides guidance and training to less experienced Auditors. Act as a liaison to internal and external customers regarding audits. Provide after hours (on-call) support to internal and external customers, as scheduled. Complete 24 unsupervised audits and 24 unsupervised evaluations.

Education High School Certifications and Licenses Years of Experience 4-6 years of experience Core Competencies Adaptability Collaboration Curiosity Service-Oriented Strives For Positive Results Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs) Commercial or ATP Pilots Certificate or Airframe & Powerplant Certificate or Dispatcher's License or international equivalent. Must be able to work independently and use independent discretion and judgment. Ability to use sound judgment in analyzing reports, assessing risks and making recommendations. Demonstrated high degree of personal and professional integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to write effective reports, business correspondence. Technical computer expertise and proficient knowledge in commercial off-the-shelf applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must be able to travel internationally when required. Effective working both individually as well as in a team environment with the ability to interact in a professional manner with internal and external customers and outside vendors.
