We're looking for a curious, driven, and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our dynamic Internal Audit team. This is more than just a compliance role—it's an opportunity to explore the inner workings of a leading retail brand, collaborate across departments, and help shape smarter, more efficient business practices. Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of business and financial processes through walkthroughs and documentation reviews.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls across departments like Financial Reporting, Inventory Management, Legal/Compliance, and Real Estate.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for improvement and share actionable insights.
- Manage multiple projects with guidance from experienced auditors and managers.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and become a trusted advisor.
- Stay proficient by participating in professional development and training opportunities. Qualifications
- 1+ year of audit experience (public or private sector).
- Clear understanding of audit principles, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA, CIA, or CFE certification or interest in pursuing a certification is preferred.
