Clinical Compliance & Audit Specialist Lumio Dental - 3.5 Jenks, OK Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Office CMS regulatory compliance Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Open Dental Full Job Description Position Overview The Clinical Compliance & Audit Specialist supports Lumio Dental's compliance program through audit execution, documentation quality oversight, and day-to-day operational support. This role ensures clinical documentation aligns with regulatory standards, payer requirements, and internal expectations across a multi-site organization. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine chart audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Identify documentation gaps and support quality improvement efforts Provide feedback on clinical notes and support documentation standardization Manage day-to-day compliance inquiries and follow-ups with office teams Track key compliance processes (e.g., waterline testing, spore testing, audit logs) Maintain audit trackers and monitor trends across practices Partner with Clinical Support, Operations, and RCM to resolve issues and ensure alignment Qualifications 5+ years of administrative and/or clinical dental experience 2+ years of experience working with Open Dental Proficient in Microsoft 365 Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Strong understanding of clinical workflows and documentation standards Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with chart auditing or compliance programs Familiarity with payer documentation requirements, specifically CMS Medicaid Experience in a multi-site or DSO environment Success in This Role Improved documentation consistency across practices Reduced audit backlog and compliance escalations Stronger alignment between clinical documentation and payer requirements
